Only 181 of CALHIPSO’s over 6000 registered members have obtained their first Meaningful Use incentive.
The reason so few practices have successfully attested for meaningful use may be obvious to physicians and their multi-tasking staff; everyone involved in the practice is already too busy to handle the complicated set of additional responsibilities required for successful EMR implementation and achieving meaningful use within the practice.
